Corentium Home

Know your home’s radon level with lab-quality insight and zero lab fees. Corentium Home is a battery-powered, portable monitor that displays both short- and long-term radon averages on its screen, so you can make decisions fast and track improvements over time.

Why this matters

  • Radon is invisible and odourless—and the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers.
  • Every house is different. Two homes on the same street can have totally different radon levels.
  • Testing is the only way to know. Corentium Home gives reliable readings in days and a true long-term average in 90 days.

Key features

  • Fast screening + long-term accuracy: See a short-term average within 24–48 hours and a long-term average for confident decisions.
  • Clear on-device display: No lab mail-ins or subscription. Results shown in Bq/m³ (or pCi/L) on the screen.
  • Portable & battery powered: Runs for up to 2 years on standard AAA batteries. Place it, move it, retest any room.
  • No Wi-Fi required: Works anywhere in the home—basement, main floor, or crawlspace access area.
  • Data you can act on: Ideal for pre-mitigation screening, post-mitigation verification, and ongoing peace of mind.

How to use it

  1. Place the monitor on the lowest lived-in level of your home, away from drafts, exterior walls, windows, and direct heat sources. Shelf or table height is perfect.
  2. Wait for the short-term reading (48 hours) for an initial snapshot.
  3. Keep it running for 90 days to get the most accurate long-term average, which is the basis for mitigation decisions.
  4. Retest after any renovations, HVAC changes, or mitigation work.

Who it’s perfect for

  • Homeowners who want quick, trustworthy radon readings without mailing kits
  • Real estate buyers/sellers needing fast screening during due diligence
  • Post-mitigation verification to confirm levels stayed low
  • Seasonal checks in the Okanagan where winter levels can rise

You’ll see a short-term average within 2–7 days, but a 90-day test gives the most accurate long-term average.

Where should I place it?
On the lowest lived-in level, away from exterior doors/windows, drafts, and direct heat. Don’t put it in kitchens, bathrooms, or on the floor.
